Summer cooks outs are great, but it’s time to celebrate with gastric glee like the French do as they celebrate Bastille Day. Think champagne, foie gras and caviar. Or a smoked duck breast and cheese platter…Roasted poussin, with truffle pasta and duck confit…need I go on?
The French do love decadent hors d’ouvres. Foie Gras , Caviar are both perfect accompaniments to champagne.

Ahhh..Poussin. There is nothing easier to prepare and a roasted poussin with truffled pasta with duck confit is just what you need to cure your burger blues.
So why not open up a nice Burgundy and watch Les Misérables while enjoying a French feast. Vive le France!
