O Olive Oil- Basil

California mission olives with fresh basil

O olive oil has become a leader in olive oils. This is pure mission olives crushed with fresh basil leaves. No infusion, extracts, or flavors are added here! The mission olives are grown on family farms in the sunny California foothills and are never sprayed. There is also no worry of other chemicals such as lead, sometimes found in imported oils. Small artisanal quality is what you will experience in this refreshing blend of olives and fresh basil. Simply stated, they CRUSH it!

Basil lends the fresh taste of summer. Drizzle on sliced tomatoes and mozzarella for an extra kick to your Caprese salad. It is also quite remarkable on a piece of grilled swordfish. I’m sure you will find a plethora of things to drizzle this delightful fresh oil on.

Reduced Shipping Costs

Many of our ingredients are perishable and therefore by necessity, require FEDEX Standard Overnight shipping. There is no way around it - it's costly, and understanding shipping calculations practically requires a degree in actuary science!

In order to help defray your cost of shipping, we have incorporated shipping discounts for many of our finer ingredients. These ingredients are noted on the web site and the discounts will be automatically calculated when the ingredient is added to your cart. These discounts are cumalitive, so you could end up with very low or no shipping charges. (dependant on your location)

The best part is that you might as well add that extra pound of mushrooms, a bottle of truffle oil, some pasta or your favorite "pantry staples" because the shipping costs may not even change!

Artisan/History/Story

"O' Olive Oil Company has consistently won the Fancy Food Show awards ( SOFI) and California olive oil competitions. They use only freshly raised citrus, herbs, and mission olives, which are then pressed together. They are also free of lead, which is sometimes found in Imported oils. Mario is putting together a wonderful tasting of their oils for me in this picture.

How to Prep/Store

These olive oils are pressed at the peak of freshness for superb flavor. The dark bottle is a built-in protector from harmful light so keep within easy reach. Keep, as with all good oils, out of direct sunlight. There is no need to refrigerate; it will only serve to cloud and thicken your oil. This won't hurt the oil but will make it less appealing. You will be amazed at the things this oil will bring to life.
