Clean brussels sprouts, remove any tough outer leaves. If sprouts are large, cut in half. ( smaller ones will be the tastiest!)
Pour stock in to large sauté pan with lid. Bring to simmer.
Add brussel sprouts and cover. Braise until almost tender 8-10 minutes.
Remove lid and continue to simmer and allow stock to evaporate/reduce for a few more minutes.
When stock is reduced to 1/4 cup stir in the Blis Maple syrup. Toss to coat sprouts.
(Another option is to transfer braised sprouts to a sheet pan and roast for about 10 minutes to give a little caramelized color and if you prefer a little more depth of flavor- THEN toss with BlIs maple syrup.)
If you want a little color, add in some fresh cherry tomatoes cut in half, or 1/2 red bell pepper cut in strips for the last 3 or 4 minutes of cooking.
Serve alongside most anything- but is especially delicious with pork tenderloin or chops!
