Combine flour and salt in large bowl.
In another bowl combine two beaten eggs and enough milk to make 2 cups. Make well in flour mixture and pour in egg/milk mixture. Beat or blend until fluffy and then add in two additional eggs. Beat or blend until large bubbles rise to surface. Chill batter for at least one hour.
Meanwhile coat bottem of 9x 13 oven proof pan with drippings from roast beef or melted butter ( 1/3-1/2 cup). Heat pan in 400 degree oven.
Beat mix again at high speed and then carefully pour into HOT pan. Bake for 20 minutes then reduce heat to 350. Bake an additional 10-15 minutes until edges curl up and is nicely browned. Remove from oven, cut into large squares and serve at once.
